Maria Spanopoulou, MDT is a highly skilled dental technician from Greece, internationally recognized for her expertise in prosthodontics, esthetic restorations, and all-ceramic techniques. She graduated in 2004 from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and began a distinguished career in dental technology, working at pioneering laboratories including one certified as a pilot lab by Sirona Dental Company for CAD/CAM technology in 2006. She is owner of the lab “Advanced Dental Laboratory” in Athens and became a certified trainer for Ivoclar Vivadent in 2008 and Straumann in 2011, reflecting her mastery of dental materials and implantology.
In 2015, Maria began collaborating with the Postgraduate Department of Prosthodontics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, contributing to academic and clinical advancements. She joined the Key Opinion Leader team at MPF Company in 2017, became a certified member of the Digital Smile Design (DSD) community, and since 2018 has served as Editor-in-Chief of Laborama, influencing the profession through her editorial leadership.
Through her editorial influence and pioneering use of digital technologies, Maria provides the jury with a modern and forward-thinking lens on excellence in dental technology.
