Dr. Guilherme Saavedra is a respected Brazilian dentist, internationally recognized for his expertise in implantology, prothodontics, and aesthetic restorative dentistry. For over two decades, he has combined clinical precision with artistic vision to deliver long-lasting, functional, and natural-looking rehabilitations.
He holds an associate professorship in the Department of Dental Materials and Prothodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, São José dos Campos, Universidade Estadual Paulista, UNESCO, and also contributes academically as a lecturer in the Postgraduate Program in Restorative Dentistry at UNESCO and as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Lisbon, Portugal. His academic journey includes Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Restorative Dentistry, specialization in prothodontics, and post-associate professorship qualifications.
Guilherme mentors graduate students at UNESP, leading research in the fields of Implant Dentistry and Digital Dental Tools, as well as ceramic materials, implant-supported prosthetics, occlusion, and digital workflows. He is also the founder of the Saavedra Digital Dentistry Academy, where he delivers lectures and hands-on training worldwide.
His dual role as clinician and educator allows Guilherme to offer the Smile Award jury a forward-looking, evidence-based perspective, bringing innovation, education, and excellent patient care to the forefront of the awards’ assessments.
